Our tours cover large parts of Central Europe, although majority are run in HUNGARY and SLOVAKIA. ETOURS TRAVEL was founded in 1991 and years of experience has resulted in sophisticated tour designs. We work not only with a network of local guides, but with virtually all the bigger tour operators. Hungary and Slovakia offer richly contrasting largely unspoilt countryside. Hungary is a well known destination for birdwatchers, notably the famous Hortobagy National Park where the puzla, ponds and marshes attract millions of birds every Spring. Slovakia’s mountain forests, deep lakes and rocky habitats are home to completely different breeding species. Our Company offers the best opportunity to see bears in Central Europe. Andy is based in Leicester and over the last twenty years or so he has arranged more than 60 bird watching trips for his own friends, not only in Europe, but worldwide.
