This special trip takes you to the High Tatras in search of Brown Bears and some exclusive forest birds, also to the Hortobagy National Park, renowned for its extremely rich birdlife. It offers easy exploration of the plains and mountains in bursting springtime. Whilst it may still be snowing in the High Tatras, the sun shines in Hortobagy during a busy northward migration and ‘Indian’ summer. The range of birds seen offers a wide contrast with the possibility of Aquatic Warbler, Great Bustard, Pygmy Cormorant, Three-toed Woodpecker, Alpine Accentor or Nutcracker together on one list.
