BUTTERFLIES

This tour covers many of the large and the most attractive butterflies of Hungary and Slovakia together with some moths. Apollos, Emperors, Gliders and a host of Blues, Coppers and Fritillaries are all to be found here in the beautiful landscapes. The walks will be at relaxed pace, giving ample time to see associated wildlife including salamanders, newts, orchids and birds. During our ascent from the plains to the hills we expect to see approximately 100 species in their different habitats. Wine tasting adds a pleasant diversion.
