Design of Itineraries
Itinerary design is one of the most important aspects of our work. After 14 years of organizing of Central European walking and trekking tours, we know every nook and cranny of the area and we are aware of how certain areas appeal to our guests. Our clients stay in the most charming, well-located hotels; enjoy introductions to friendly locals; and discover picturesque, obscure villages, secret footpaths and special small cafes - which only an "insider" can know about.
Group size
The group size ranges from 3 to 16 guests. However, the average is 10 guests + 2 local guides + 1 local driver. This allows us to design itineraries with plenty of opportunities that would be unthinkable for larger groups and that you can enjoy as if traveling on your own. Small group travel means traveling with friends. Who enrolls on our tours? Of course, there are a great variety of people traveling as couples or on their own, however, they always have something in common - enthusiasm for walking, interest in cultural heritage, spirit of adventure and eagerness to discover Central Europe. These aspects are undoubtedly quite revealing of the nature of our guests. Based on our experience, we know that such people make friends easily and this is our main goal - to make each group a group of good friends.Your Safety is of the Utmost Importance
Our office team, trip leaders and minibus drivers pay careful attention to every aspect of your trip, from altitude-related concerns and minimization of transportation hazards to ensuring sanitary preparation of picnic lunches. Moreover, there are always several alternative options for each trip and our guides are trained to make decisions according to current weather conditions, composition of the group, contingent natural disasters and other aspects relevant to the current situation so as to ensure the safety of our clients. Emergencies are extremely rare, however, all of our guides have received first-aid training and they always carry a first-aid kit (in compliance with US standard) with them.Transport
Our minibuses are almost always new or at most up to 5 years old Mercedes Benz luxury vans. Our target is to provide 2 seats for each guest. We hire exclusively professional drivers (no driving guides!) with at least 10 years of experience with minibus or coach driving. We are proud to mention that in over the 14 years of our existence our drivers never have had an accident, not even a minor one.
