Introduction:

During our nine-day exploration, we will walk through the mysterious Carpathian Mountains, ancient villages and UNESCO-listed towns, and spend time in the magnificent cities of Budapest and Krakow. After two days in fascinating northern we make our way north to the UNESCO-listed town of Banska Stiavnica, the most romantic of Slovak towns.
Our journey takes us through the Low and the High Tatras National Parks, as well as through many historic villages, castles and towns scattered throughout the Slovak countryside. On the northern side of the High Tatras lies Krakow, relatively untouched by World War II.
