Day 2: Prague

City tour featuring the city's most famous sights, including the Prague Castle, St.Vitus Cathedral, Charles Bridge, the Astronomical clock, Old Town Square, and fabulous Garden on the Ramparts with stunning city views and the peaceful Wallenstein Garden. Free afternoon, optional visit of the Prague’s Jewish Quarter (entrance fees not included).

Day 3: FromSt. Johnunder the Rock Holy Monastery to Karlstejn Castle

Total Walk: Approx. 3 hours, 10 km/6 miles; Level 2

Total Driving: 30 mins

Morning drive from Prague to our starting point for a moderate walk to the Monastery of St. John under the Rock and through the limestone Bohemian Karst up to Karlstejn. Afternoon guided tour of the Karlstejn Castle built in the 14th Century. Luggage delivered directly to the hotel.

Day 4: Orlik lake Castles

Total Walk: Approx. 3 hours, 10 km/6 miles; Level 1-2

Transfer to the Southern Bohemia. Walking path to the gates of 13th-century Orlik Castle followed by scenic boat ride passing under the Zdakovsky Bridge and ending at the Zvikov Castle. Afterwards an easy 3-hour stroll alongside the Vltava River. Transfer to Cesky Krumlov.

Day 5: Cesky Krumlov, Vyssi Brod

Morning guided tourof Cesky Krumlov, a real gem among Czech cities (UNESCO listed), Renaissance palace, the second largest after the one in Prague, and a unique Baroque theater. Afternoon scenic ride along the Moldau to the Cistercian Monastery in Vyssi Brod founded in 1259. Today’s walk leads along the Stations of the Cross with a pictorial little church of Maria Rast at the summit. Enjoy the beauty of the Sumava National Park before returning back to the hotel.

Day 6: Trebon Lake Districtand Telc

Morning transfer through the lovely Trebon Lake District, followed by a walk through the the countryside with marvelous landscapes. Afternoon arrival to UNESCO inscribed renaissance town of Telc.

Morning guided tour of an impressive château and a square surrounded by picturesque gabled houses. After lunch, transfer to Prague. Alternatively, transfer (not included in price) toBudapest orVienna. Free afternoon. Farewell dinner and walk around Prague in the evening.
